LUMICS optical tweezer and imaging system is being widely used in research institutes
To facilitate the training of the usage of LUMICS optical tweezers instrument, and the further development of LUMICS optical tweezers user interface, a LUMICS optical tweezers instrument with 4 independently steerable traps was installed in the UCPH lab during the period from December 2018 to April 2019. This opportunity has enabled 3 UCPH members to be trained to use this instrument. In addition, UCPH biologists have made contribution of the optimization of the settings of this instrument. In addition, the same instrument was installed recently at “The Francis Crick Institute”, London, where we have held a one day symposium and half day workshop on May 23rd and 24th, 2019 to introduce Chromavision and give a demonstration of LUMICS optical tweezers to a group of scientists from around the UK.
